Abstract

Disney's animated film music plays a significant role in the Chinese film and television market. It serves not only as a means of emotional expression but also exhibits unique semiotic features in music communication. This paper analyses the semiotic system of Disney's animated film music, including its music elements, language expression, and image integration, using semiotics theory as the basic framework. By analyzing the energy, reference and meaning of music symbols, as well as incorporating the theories of music communication and cultural memory, this study examines the communication characteristics of music in Disney animated films. It highlights the advantages of using music in films and reveals how Disney's music can construct emotional resonance on a symbolic level, create cultural memory, and achieve effective communication.
