THE IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL MENTOR LEADERSHIP ON POSTGRADUATES' INNOVATION PERFORMANCE

The Chinese government attaches great importance to innovative talents and has taken various measures to improve the quantity and quality of innovative talents. In the past twenty years, the scale of graduate students in China has been rapidly developing, providing talent support for the country's development. The Chinese Ministry of Education has put forward higher requirements for the quality of graduate education. Graduate students have indeed made significant contributions in innovation, but it cannot be ignored that with the rapid expansion of the number of students on campus, there are indeed many problems with the quality of training. Therefore, many scholars have conducted research on this. The role of mentors in graduate education is beyond doubt. Scholars have explored from multiple perspectives how mentor guidance affects the quality of graduate education, with particular attention paid to the differences in training quality caused by differences in guidance styles. After analyzing numerous studies, this article found that there is still a research gap in the impact path of transformational mentors on graduate innovation performance.
