Abstract

In recent years, China’s higher education has developed rapidly. As of June 15, 2023, there are a total of 3072 higher education institutions in China, including 2820 ordinary higher education institutions, 1275 undergraduate colleges, and 1545 vocational colleges; 252 adult higher education institutions. Due to the transformation and development of China’s industries and the needs of the economy and society, nearly half of universities have shifted their focus to cultivating applied college students. This article focuses on the Curriculum evaluation of applied science universities in China. By explaining the importance of Curriculum evaluation, relevant concepts of Curriculum management, and theories of effective management, the current situation of university of applied science in China is analyzed, and strategies for effective Curriculum evaluation in Chinese applied science universities are proposed.
