The importance of mental health for students in vocational schools cannot be overstated. Mental health is integral to overall well-being and is closely linked to academic success, career readiness, and personal development. The mental health of students in vocational schools is a critical factor that has an impact on not only their future career prospects, but even life paths in the future. By creating an environment that prioritizes mental health, vocational schools contribute to the holistic development of students, preparing them not just for their chosen professions but for a fulfilling and resilient life beyond education. The vocational education in China is still at an early stage, the mental health of students in vocational colleges are not optimistic, the reasons for this are intertwined. Part of the explanation could be sorted as generic issues, yet some are due to the distinctiveness of vocational education itself.
