Abstract

This study aimed to analyze key factors influencing the value of learning and teaching design—specifically knowledge, engagement, case study, and presentation—to develop a conceptual framework. The research population comprised PhD students enrolled in the Innovative Management program at the College of Innovation and Management, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. A sample of 200 participants was selected using Taro Yamane’s formula from a population of 400. Data were collected via a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, semi-structured interviews with 20 key informants, and structured observations. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analyses; qualitative data underwent content analysis. Findings revealed that engagement strategies had the strongest influence on presentation effectiveness (β = 0.531), followed by knowledge integration (β = 0.267) and case study implementation (β = 0.195). A conceptual framework consisting of four interconnected dimensions—Knowledge, Engagement, Case Study, and Presentation—was developed. The study recommends faculty development, technology-enhanced engagement strategies, and authentic case studies to improve teaching and learning design in the digital era.
